About
The Prints

Haas Editions prints conform to the highest archival standards.

Prints are produced with UltraChrome pigments, expected to last over 100 years. The process is environmentally friendly - pigments are laid down on paper, and there are no chemicals involved.

They are printed on paper by Hahnemühle of Germany, famous for papermaking since 1584. This is fine art paper in a matte finish similar to that used in etchings or watercolors.

They are 100% acid and lignin free, and feature especially clean whites. Photographs on art paper will look far superior to low resolution online images, as we are sure your will find when you receive your prints.

Limited Edition Images are signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. No more than the indicated number of permanent pigment prints will be made in each of the sizes listed.

Open Edition Images are also signed and dated by the artist and made to the same specifications as the Limited Editions. Here the size and number of prints in circulation are at the artist's discretion.
Caring for prints: Like any art, Haas Editions prints should be protected from conditions that may challenge their permanence. Chief among them are sunlight, humidity, pollution, and ultraviolet light from many fluorescent tubes. If framed, only archival mats, frames, and glass should be employed.

You will receive more detailed instructions on the care and permanence of your prints in a set of collector's documents, which will also include a Certificate of Authenticity verifying the print was issued by Haas Editions, stating the number and specifications of your print, and signed by the artist.

Please note that the sizes listed are for the actual image area. The paper size is larger, with at least two inches of trim on all sides. Exact sizes may vary slightly according to the particular image.
